Privacy Policy — Tap Recorder

Last updated: 2026-06-14

1. Introduction

Tap Recorder ("the App", "we", "our") is a tap-automation utility that records and replays on-screen gestures. This Privacy Policy explains what information is handled, how it is stored, and your rights. The App is developed by an individual developer located in Japan.

2. Information We Handle

2.1 Tap Script Data

When you use the App to record a sequence of taps, long-presses, or swipes, the App stores the on-screen coordinates and timing of those actions as a "script". This data is saved locally on your device only, in the App's private storage. It is never transmitted to any server, cloud service, or third party.

2.2 What the App Does NOT Access

The App does not read on-screen text or images. It does not access secure or password input fields, other apps' credentials, messages, or photos. It does not access your camera, microphone, location, contacts, or any other sensor.

2.3 Advertising Identifier (Free Version Only)

The free version of the App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob uses your device's resettable advertising identifier (also known as the advertising ID) to deliver ads. This identifier is shared with Google and its advertising partners solely for ad-delivery purposes. We do not receive or store your advertising ID ourselves.

You may reset or limit use of your advertising ID at any time in your device settings (Settings > Privacy > Ads, or equivalent).

The Pro version (one-time purchase) removes all advertisements; no advertising ID is used for ad-delivery purposes in the Pro version.

3. Data Storage and Retention

All data (tap scripts you save) is stored locally on your device in the App's private storage. No server-side copy exists. Data persists until you delete it within the App or uninstall the App. You have full control over your data at all times.

4. Accessibility Service

The App uses Android's Accessibility Service to observe tap events during recording and to replay gestures during playback. Details of what the Accessibility Service accesses, and how, are described in the Accessibility Service Usage notice available within the App.

5. Device Permissions

The App uses the following permissions:

No other permissions are requested.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided such information, please contact us at info@silvia-office.company.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
